Emily was born in Hong Kong and moved to London when she was 7. Since becoming a Christian in her early teens, Emily has always been involved in church life.  Initially with the Chinese Church in London where she became a Christian, then in 1988 started a Chinese Pentecostal church with a group of friends, passionate about sharing the Gospel to the Chinese people.  Today the church is still going strong and continues to impact the Chinese community with the Good News of Jesus.

I was born and brought up in a Christian family in Cambridge. We attended an evangelical Church of England church.

When I was in my early teens my father took me to a sound relay of a Billy Graham rally taking place in the North of England. When there, I went forward and gave my life to Jesus.

A few years later I attended a BMS summer school for teenagers and met a Baptist girl from Reading who later became my wife.

During 45 years of marriage, we have been members of Baptist churches in Ascot, Aberdeen, and latterly Campbeltown Community Church. We have also been members of an Elim Pentecostal Church in Fort William, and the Church of Scotland.

In 2012 I retired, and we decided to move to Campbeltown, an area we had been to many times on holiday. We moved to Campbeltown in December 2013 and were drawn to Campbeltown Community Church which we joined into membership in 2014.

This took her to Johannesburg for four years where she worked with Wits University students and organised National conferences. During this time she completed a Theology degree part-time. Anne moved back to Scotland in 1996 and worked with UCCF as Relay Administrator, again training young Christian leaders and organising conferences.
