Due to Covid-19 we are currently only meeting for Sunday service.

Campbeltown Community Church Playgroup is run entirely by volunteers from the Church and supported by the congregation.

The group aims to provide a fun and safe environment where children can play and enjoy a variety of activities. We also use Makaton during our song time. Makaton is a visual way to develop communication skills, which helps stimulate sounds and words. This visual way of communicating in turn helps to encourage language development, i.e. putting words together. Makaton helps understanding, giving the child or adult an extra visual clue.

It is also a place where parents, grand-parents and carers can meet up, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and meet new friends and find support. We feel the group is not only for the children but also a place where the adults can take a break from daily routines and benefit from mixing with other parents and carers.

Follow our Facebook page for more up-to-date information.

We currently join with other youth groups in the area for a combined youth fellowship, meeting every Friday evening.

Check our Facebook page for more details.

We have two Sunday school classes.

Children are encouraged to join in the first part of the service, then they leave for Sunday school.

We use the Scripture Union Go Teach series, an excellent resource for children and young people aged 3 to 14 years. During the sessions there is a Bible story, memory verse, songs and a craft connected to the Bible story.  We have snack time too!

All our children's work leaders are PVG checked.
